“Everywhere I look I see the beauty of the Rust Belt. Nature is reclaiming old factory buildings and bridges throughout the region.” Photographic images hover gracefully behind factory window inspired frames. “The broken or missing glass and the rusty framework are beautiful remnants of the vibrant industry that built our city.” Megan Frankenfield is a visual artist living and working in Cleveland. She is an art educator and maintains a studio in the Lake Erie Screw Factory in Lakewood, Ohio. Frankenfield exhibits her paintings throughout north east Ohio and in a permanent installation in the New Hilton Convention Center Hotel.
